How Valley HVAC Network Works

How Valley HVAC Network Works

We are a referral service, not an HVAC contractor.

Valley HVAC Network connects homeowners across the San Fernando Valley, from Burbank and North Hollywood to Woodland Hills, Chatsworth and Sylmar, with independent, licensed HVAC contractors. We do not perform HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance work ourselves. We are not a licensed contractor, and no one on our team will be sent to your home to perform HVAC work.

What we do:

  • When you call or fill out our form, we call you back to understand your HVAC issue, your location and how soon you need help
  • With your permission, we connect you with an independent, licensed HVAC contractor who services your area, and they contact you directly to schedule and quote
  • Any work performed at your home is done by that independent contractor, under their own license, not by Valley HVAC Network

How We Choose Contractors

Every contractor we refer must meet these requirements, which we check before referring anyone:

  • Active California license. An active C-20 (HVAC) or other appropriate license with the Contractors State License Board.
  • Insured. General liability insurance, plus workers’ compensation insurance, which California requires for all HVAC (C-20) contractors.

If a contractor uses a subcontractor for a job, that subcontractor must be licensed for the work too.

We also look for contractors who:

  • Serve your part of the Valley and can respond quickly, including for no-AC and no-heat calls
  • Have solid public reviews and no pattern of unresolved complaints
  • Explain the problem and give you a clear quote before starting work

If a contractor we referred doesn’t meet these requirements or falls short of what we look for, tell us at contact@valleyhvacnetwork.com. We use that feedback to decide who we refer in the future.

Verifying your contractor:
We encourage every homeowner to independently verify the license of any contractor before authorizing work. You can check a contractor’s license status for free through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). Always confirm the contractor is licensed, bonded, and insured before work begins.

Pricing and agreements:
Valley HVAC Network does not set, collect, or have any involvement in the pricing of HVAC services. Any pricing, estimate, contract, or agreement for work is strictly between you and the independent contractor you choose to hire.

Questions or concerns:
If you have a complaint about work performed at your home, that complaint should be directed to the licensed contractor who performed the work, and if needed, to the CSLB. Valley HVAC Network is not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of work performed by independent contractors.
