Valley HVAC Network (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates valleyhvacnetwork.com (the “Site”). We are a referral service: we connect homeowners with independent, licensed HVAC contractors, and those contractors may pay us for referrals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we sell or share it with, and the choices you have.
Notice at Collection
When you call us or submit a form, we collect the information below. We sell this information to independent HVAC contractors so they can contact you about the service you requested. You can opt out of the sale of your information at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
We only sell or share your contact details and service request with independent, licensed HVAC contractors. We never sell your information to data brokers, marketers, lead resellers or any other third parties.
Information We Collect
- Identifiers: your name, phone number and email address.
- General location: your city, neighborhood or ZIP code.
- Service request details: the HVAC service you need, details about your system and home (for example, whether you own or rent and how old your system is), and how soon you need help.
- Website usage information: collected automatically, including your IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, pages visited, time on the Site, and the referring website or search terms.
We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to understand how visitors use our Site. These tools use cookies. You can learn more about Google’s data practices at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers or health information.

How We Sell and Share Your Information
Sale to HVAC contractors. When you request help, we sell your identifiers, general location and service request details to one or more independent, licensed HVAC contractors. The contractors may pay us a fee for the referral and use your information to contact you about your request by phone, text or email. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), this is a “sale” of personal information. These licensed contractors are the only businesses we sell or share your contact details with.
A contractor we refer you to may share your request and contact details with a licensed subcontractor who performs some or all of the work on your job. They may share it only for that job.
Service providers. To run the Site, we use a website host, an email provider and an analytics provider (Google). They process information only on our behalf, may not use it for their own purposes, and do not buy it from us.
Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Valley HVAC Network, our users or others.
We do not sell or share website usage information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Calls and Texts
When you request help and agree on our form, we or the contractors we refer you to may call, text or email you about that request, including by automated dialing, automated texts and artificial or prerecorded voice messages, at the phone number you gave us. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase; you can call us instead. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us or a contractor to stop contacting you at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling us on the phone, or emailing us.
Call recording. Calls to and from our phone number may be recorded for quality assurance and record-keeping. If a call is recorded, you will be told at the start of the call or before recording begins. Any recordings are kept with your request and handled like the rest of your information under this policy.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it and who we sold or disclosed it to
- Delete the personal information we have collected from you, with some exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Not be discriminated against for using any of these rights

We will act on opt-out requests as soon as possible and respond to other requests within 45 days. For requests to know, delete or correct, we may need to confirm your identity, for example by matching the phone number or email address you gave us. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof that the agent is authorized.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal when you submit our form, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your information.
Data Retention
We keep lead and referral information for up to 24 months after your request so we can follow up and keep accurate referral records, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer. Website usage data is kept according to Google Analytics’ retention settings.
Cookies
Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work properly without them.
Children’s Privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Contractors Who Contact Us
If you are a contractor and contact us about our referral program, for example by email, by phone, or through a form on our Facebook or Instagram ads, we collect your name, business name, contractor license number, trade, service area, phone number and email address. We use this information only to talk with you about the referral program and to check your license with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). We do not sell it, and we share it only with service providers that help us run our websites, ads and forms. You can ask us to see or delete it at any time using the contact details below.
